On a side note: After the opening ceremony for the regional tournament there was a long ball hitting contest. Each team was allowed 3 entries in the contest. The 3 RCELL entries took the top 3 spots!!
Ryan Rendon finished first with a 325 foot blast. Ryan Cheatham was second with a shot of 308 feet and Patrick Mahomes finished in the third spot with a poke of 289 feet. Great job guys!! Keep it up!

Congratulations to the RCELL teams that participated in the sectional tournament!!
Coach Spitzer's Major 11 team had a great showing and finished 2nd at the sectional tournament in College Station. These kids and coaches showed great heart in coming back after a loss to open the tournament to make it to the finals!
Coach Dorsey's Senior team was very competitive but could not quite advance to state but they represented RCELL quite nicely while in Brenham.
